Hiring someone to cut the grass every few weeks adds up over a year, and you still wait for them to turn up. A petrol brush cutter solves that but brings its own problems: it is heavy, it is loud enough to annoy the whole street, and it needs fuel you have to go out and buy.
This trimmer does the same work on a battery. Charge it, clip it in, squeeze the trigger. That is the whole routine.

Three batteries, so you do not stop halfway
It comes with three rechargeable 96V batteries and a charger. Run the first one down, swap in the next, and put the empty one on charge. For most homes one battery already covers the job. The other two are there so a big clearing day never gets cut short.

A full set of blades, for every job on the compound
Soft lawn grass, stubborn weeds, thick stems and wiry undergrowth all need different blades, so this kit covers all of them:

• 5 plastic blades for everyday grass and tidying, gentle around walls and fences
• 3 circular disc stainless steel blades for thick weeds and overgrowth
• 2 flat rectangular stainless steel blades for tougher stems and cleared patches
• 5 wire blades for wiry undergrowth and rough patches the other blades struggle with

The plastic blades clip on by hand. The steel and wire blades fit with the screwdriver and wrench that come in the box.

It adjusts to you
The steel pole extends from 80cm to 120cm, so you are not stooping if you are tall. The cutting head pivots up to 90 degrees, which is what lets you get level along a wall, under a hedge or around a drain cover without kneeling down.

Built for real use
A guard keeps cuttings off your legs and the anti collision frame keeps the blade off walls and tree trunks. Two support wheels let you rest the weight on the ground and walk it forward across open lawn. Protective goggles and gloves are included, so everything you need is in the box.
